Electrical Engineer

Phillips Engineering, Inc. is an electrical engineering design firm seeking a candidate to fulfill an electrical engineer position to perform design on commercial, industrial, municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. The duties will include project planning, cost estimates, complete project design, preparation of contract documents (project plans and specifications) and construction administration. Computer software skills would include AutoCAD 2021, Revit 2021, Microsoft Word, Lighting Design software, Load Analysis and Short Circuit Study software and Emergency Power Systems software.

All electrical designs are performed with strict adherence to the National Electrical code, Life Safety code, International Building code, International Energy Conservation code (IECC), National Fire Alarm code and all applicable State and Local codes. All designs include energy conservation analysis, seismic design, load analysis and calculations, voltage drop calculations, lighting calculations, short circuit studies/protective device coordination and arc flash analysis using state of the art computer software.  Project designs include fire alarm systems, emergency and exit lighting systems, security systems, sound systems, emergency power systems and SCADA system design and coordination with system integration suppliers.
